It is nice to have something to do during a day of wellness. That is why the Hamam treatment is the perfect solution for being completely pampered for 1 to 2 hours. The Hamam treatment has an additional purpose. After the Hamam treatment, the skin feels very clean and cared for. The silky-soft, clean skin retains its tan much longer. Apply sunscreen liberally if you plan to sunbathe after the treatment. A Hamam treatment includes the Hamam soap massage, scrubbing with the Kese scrub glove, and a Ghassoul mask. Hamam treatment:
- Start by showering and putting on disposable underwear / swimwear / a Hamam towel
- Relax for 5 minutes in the steam cabin.
- In the steam cabin, the skin’s pores open up, which is beneficial for the treatment.
- Pour lukewarm water from Hamam bowls over the body
- Place the olive oil soap blocks in a bowl of hot water and place the Hamam bag in it
It works as follows:
- Take a bowl that can fit at least 3 Hamam blocks and the soap bag.
- Pour a little hot water and the soap bag into it.
- Add a little hot water as it cools down so that the soap dissolves well.
- Let it soak for 5 minutes.
- After this, you can use the soap bag, which is soaked with the soap, in the same way as you would with powder soap.
Lather forms automatically because the soap bag has been lying in the bowl with the soap blocks. Any leftover soap blocks can be used again next time. However, always use 3 soap bars at a time to obtain a good lather in the soap bag.
- If desired, massage the body while lathering.
- Now that the body is clean, it can be scrubbed with the Kese scrub glove.
- The flaky skin cells disappear like snow in the sun.
- Apply a ghassoul clay powder mask to the face and let it sit for 15 minutes.
