  1. Melt 100 grams of organic shea butter in a double boiler until completely liquid.
  2. Gradually add 50 ml of grapeseed oil and Add 25 ml of argan oil while continuing to stir.
  3. Let the mixture cool in the freezer for 20 minutes until it begins to solidify but is still soft.
  4. Briefly beat the mixture with a kitchen mixer.
  5. Add 20 drops distributed over your chosen essential oils for a lovely scent and extra skin care. (for example, 10 drops of Lavender oil and 10 drops of Geranium oil or 5 drops of Tea Tree oil with 5 drops of Lavender oil and 10 drops of Geranium oil.) 10 drops of Lavender oil and 10 drops of Mandarin or Bergamot oil is also highly recommended.
  6. Whip the mixture with a hand mixer until it is light and airy (as thick as whipped cream), like a cloud of hydration.
  7. Sterilize a few jars or aluminum tins with hot or boiling water and dry them thoroughly to keep the whipped shea butter fresh for longer.
  8. Pour your homemade whipped shea butter into one or more clean airtight glass jars or aluminum tins and store it in the refrigerator to allow it to solidify further.
