The extraction of the essential Oregano oil

This natural essential Oregano oil is extracted by steam distillation of the dried, flowering Orignum Vulgare from Hungary. The Origanum Vulgare can grow into an herb of 45 cm high.

About 35 to 100 kilos of Oregano plants are needed for 1 kilo of Oregano essential oil. The fresher the material, the lower the yield of essential oil. It is a yellow to brown natural essential oil.
